Pigs cutting up a butcher, a child punishing its teacher, women and men in switched roles, a beggar in rags giving alms to a rich man: based on medieval engravings and drawings showing absurd situations that already inspired artists like the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch, their amusing and tragic motifs are transferred here to our time. A reinterpretation of reality in film, a kind of poetic vision, in familiar surrealist manner.
