At Neues Museum, the safety regulations issued by Bavaria’s state government apply. Please note the following measures.
Visitors are required to present an official proof of full vaccination or recovery and in addition an actual negative test result. Furthermore you need proof of identity for verification.
Full vaccination protection documented by an official vaccination certificate, date of second vaccination plus 15 days.
Proof of recovery, at least 28 days and maximum 90 days old.
Either a negative rapid antigen test (valid for 24 hours) or a PCR test (valid for 48 hours) are accepted as test evidence. Self-tests under supervision are unfortunately not possible on site.
Vaccinated persons who have already received a booster dose or who have survived an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus after their complete immunisation are exempt from the additional testing requirement. Please present the corresponding proof.
Children under 14 years are exempt from these regulations.
Masks are compulsory:
Visitors from 16 years and over must wear a FFP2-grade mask throughout the museum. Children and young people under 16 of age require a medical mask, children under 6 years do not need a mask.
